Why are position and stop lights not replaceable on the Renault Kadjar?

In this very short video we can see that on the Renault Kadjar the position and stop lights are not replaceable separately, because they are made with LED diodes soldered onto an electronic board; this LED board is in turn integrated into a single module that constitutes the rear light cluster. The LEDs are designed to last tens of thousands of hours, often more than the life of the car itself. Manufacturers therefore consider them "lifetime" components, not subject to regular maintenance. In fact, the light cluster is sealed to protect delicate electronic components from moisture, dust, and vibrations. Instead, turn signals, reverse lights, and fog lights are normally replaceable.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
