How to replace the battery in the key remote of a Renault Megane.

To replace the battery of the remote key for a Renault Megane car, you will need to follow the steps shown in this video tutorial. Take the remote and press the button on the side of the key fob; this will allow you to unlock and then remove the mechanical key inside the casing. At this point, use a flathead screwdriver and insert the tip into the slot on the edge of the remote, gently prying it open to access the casing. Remove the old battery and insert the new one; finally, close the remote by aligning the two halves of the casing and pressing until you hear a "click.

Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands, remove the front wheels, and then the front bumper and grille. Proceed to remove the front headlights; drain the coolant, remove the intercooler radiator and the hoses connecting it to the intake system.
