Removing the Rear Panel of the Boot of a Renault Megane III

Model: Renault Megane Megane 3, Megane III - Years 2008-2015
Part: Body

In this video, we will see how to remove the rear panel of the boot of the Renault Megane III: start by removing the plastic cover using a flat screwdriver, then pry and pull towards you; then unclip the left and right parts that are simply hooked, pulling them off in increments. Now unscrew the two Torx screws of 20. You will need to place your hands at the top of the panel to unclip the central boot cover, then pull it firmly. Unscrew the 6 bolts out of 10 that hold the boot strip; the video shows the screws on the left, in the centre, and then on the right, which we need to remove. Grab the strip at this level and then pull it off in increments to unclip it; disconnect the rear camera connector. Before removing the strip, take off the round seal and pass the disconnected cables through the hole.

Installation of Upgraded Intercooler Radiator with Pipes

Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands, remove the front wheels, and then the front bumper and grille. Proceed to remove the front headlights; drain the coolant, remove the intercooler radiator and the hoses connecting it to the intake system. Position the new intercooler radiator in the grille, temporarily securing it with cable ties, and mark with a marker the part of the metal that needs to be removed to allow the new hoses to pass through. Cut the marked portion of metal and apply a gasket to the edge. Remove the inner cover of the bumper and position it near the radiator to identify any interfering parts to eliminate: again, apply a gasket to the edge of the cut. Create brackets for securing the new radiator and proceed with the installation of the connecting pipes from the radiator to the intake, shaping and connecting them appropriately. Finally, reassemble the bumper, headlights, and grille.
