The diesel filter on the Renault Clio is located on the underside of the vehicle, so to replace it, you need to lift the car on axle stands or a ramp. To carry out the replacement, remove the lower engine cover using a screwdriver and a torque wrench.

After removing the cover, use a socket wrench with a 20mm insert to remove the nut on the cover of the box and extract the diesel filter. Allow the liquid to drain into a container and insert the new filter.

Close the nut and the box to lower the vehicle back to the ground.
