Many problems can be resolved with a software update of the ECU or the AdBlue module (which can only be done at an authorised workshop); cleaning the tank is also useful; it is essential to use quality urea, check the expiry date, and use a dedicated funnel to avoid spills (AdBlue is corrosive!). With an AOBD2 tool, it is possible to temporarily reset the AdBlue counter by reading the specific error code P208E. Removing the AdBlue system is illegal in the EU and can cause ECU lock, inspection issues, increased consumption, and irregular performance.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?
