Let's see how to change the spark plugs on a Renault Megane II: first, disconnect the ignition coil connectors, then unscrew the coil bracket with a ratchet spanner, and remove the coils from the spark plug wells. Clean dirt and debris from the spark plug wells; unscrew the old spark plugs with a ratchet spanner, apply a thin layer of anti-seize grease to the threads of the new spark plugs; install the new spark plugs in their housings, tightening them with a torque wrench to 25 Nm, then refit the coils in the spark plug wells, secure them, treat the connectors with electronic spray to protect against corrosion and oxidation; start the engine for a few minutes to check for proper operation.
