How to disassemble the floating fuel pump of a Renault Megane

Let's see how to disassemble the floating fuel pump mounted on Renault Megane cars. To begin, we disconnect the battery cables, then, we remove the seats from the rear seats of the car. We will find the wiring and a metal piece with screws, which we need to disassemble. Unscrew the tightening screws of the metal cap with a socket wrench (after removing the metal protection); let's remove it away from its seat. We wrap the entire perimeter of the sheet with absorbent paper or cloth, then, with a socket wrench, unscrew the locking pins on the sides. Finally we disconnect the power supply terminals and the liquid circulation tubes. We take out the floating fuel pump. To carry out the assembly we continue backwards.
