How do you remove the fuel pump from a Renault Megane? Disconnect the battery cables for safety; remove the rear seat cushions from the car, unscrew the securing screws of the metal cap (if present) using a socket spanner, and remove it from its seat. Unscrew the large securing nut of the fuel pump (plastic or metal), disconnect the power connectors and the liquid circulation hoses. Extract the fuel pump from the tank along with the removed parts. Finally, refit the new pump inside the tank. Assemble all parts for proper operation.
