The immobiliser issue is very common on the Renault Twingo 1: you insert the key, but the engine does not start, and the immobiliser light flashes or stays on. The likely cause is a malfunction of the key code recognition system, and the procedure shown in the video is to manually reset the control unit. Naturally, you need to know the 4-digit unlock code for the immobiliser of your vehicle: it is written in the owner's manual. Insert the key into the ignition, turn on the ignition, and the immobiliser light is on. Press and hold the rev counter button and the engine temperature button simultaneously: count to 4 and then release both buttons together. Now enter the first digit of the code (e.g., from the video: code 4467) and press the rev counter button 4 times, then release the button; repeat for all four digits, then turn the key to the "off" position. Wait 10 seconds and then start the engine normally: the car should start.
