Key Fob: How to Change the Battery in a Renault

Model: Renault Twingo Twingo 2 - Years 2007-2014

For the Renault key fob, the battery replacement starts with extracting the emergency blade or opening the shell at the indicated point in the images. Insert the lever into the cut of the key body and gently lever it until the two halves separate. Once opened, lift the button battery while keeping an eye on the orientation. Insert the new battery as shown, respecting the positive/negative direction, then close the two shells until they click into place and reinsert the blade if it was removed. Once closed, test the remote to verify the opening/closing and the flashing of the LED (if present).
