Battery Charging Fault on the Renault Captur - Cause and Solution

This video shows the diagnosis and repair of a battery charging fault on a Renault Captur: upon ignition, the car displays a warning: 'engine failure risk' and 'battery charging fault'. Indeed, the vehicle does not start. The YouTuber checks two fuses and notices that one of them shows overheating at the base, which is blackened, while the other is in good condition. For safety, both are replaced, and the base is cleaned. After the replacement, the vehicle starts immediately and the error message disappears. The overheated fuse was for the alternator (which depending on the versions may be green (30 A) or orange (40 A). The still good one was for the BMS and, depending on the version, was red (10 A) or blue (15 A).
