How to Replace the Battery on the Renault Captur I

Today, you will learn how to replace the battery on the Renault Captur model produced from 2013 to 2019 in under 15 minutes. To perform the replacement, open the front bonnet and position yourself in front of the battery. Using a 10 mm socket, unscrew the nut that secures the bracket on the battery. Using the same socket, unscrew the cover of the negative terminal connector and then disconnect it. Using a 13 mm socket, unscrew the nut at the base of the battery. Disconnect the positive terminal from the battery to remove it from its housing. The assembly follows the reverse procedure. Insert the battery into the bonnet and secure it with the 13 mm bolt. Connect the positive terminal connector and then the negative terminal connector. Insert the negative terminal and secure the battery by tightening the bracket nut. Start the vehicle to test the battery's operation.
