To change the diesel filter on a Renault Kadjar 1.5 dCi, locate it in the engine compartment. Disconnect the three 13 mm nuts securing the cover. There is also a plastic pipe to detach: use pliers to squeeze the back to release it. The system is self-bleeding, so there is no manual priming bulb; just turn the ignition on a few times and the pump will fill the filter. Once the cover is removed, take out the old filter and insert the new one, ensuring the connectors are correct (the one with the white dot goes further from the connector). Tighten the cover with the 13 mm nuts. There are two types of filter. If the original filter has a white cover, it has a water sensor; if it has a black cover, it does not. If you fit a filter without a sensor on a car that requires one, the ECU will always signal "water in filter". The solution is to recover the sensor from the old filter and fit it to the new one. Another mistake to avoid: do not open the water drain with the ignition on, as the electric pump sprays diesel into the engine compartment. After installation, start the engine and check for leaks. If the "water in filter" warning remains on, it may be a faulty or incorrectly fitted sensor.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?
As the video clearly shows, disabling or activating the traction control (TRC or ESP) on the Toyota Yaris is very simple. By default, the traction system activates every time the vehicle is started. To disable it, simply press the button depicting a skidding car located in the centre of the vehicle where the controls are, such as the hazard lights and the radio, but near the handbrake. Once disabled, the TRC off light will illuminate on the dashboard. To reactivate it, just press the same button again. by ScegliAuto More videos
