How to Change the Engine Air Filter on a Renault

Change the air filter approximately every 6,200 miles. Follow these steps for replacement. Pull up the lever for the bonnet release located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it in place. Remove the air intake kit, and using a socket spanner, unscrew the securing bolts of the cap containing the air filter. Extract the worn air filter and position a new one in the designated housing, ensuring it fits snugly against the walls. Finally, refit the air box cap and tighten the screws. Close the front bonnet after assembly.
