How to Replace the Alternator on Renault Scenic

Is the alternator not charging? Here's how to remove it. To remove the alternator, you need to take off the headlights and the bumper. Pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the bonnet, securing it in place. Locate the battery and disconnect the terminals. Remove the bumper by unscrewing the securing screws, then detach the front headlights. Access the belts and pulley. Unscrew the bolts with a socket wrench, being careful not to damage the wiring harness, and unscrew all securing bolts of the alternator. Once the removal is complete, extract it from the engine compartment. Fit the new alternator and reinstall the belts. Screw the bumper back on and reposition the headlights.
