If your Renault's battery discharges unexpectedly or if you have replaced it without connecting the cables to an auxiliary battery on older models, you will encounter a problem with the car radio activation code. Now, let’s see where and how to retrieve it. Upon first ignition, you will be prompted to enter a code consisting of a letter and three digits. Simply press and hold the "1" and "6" buttons on the radio station selection controls for a couple of seconds, and a message will appear on the screen containing the original code that you need to re-enter to reactivate the car radio.
