Key Battery Replacement on a Renault Clio

Let's look at replacing the battery in the key of a Renault Clio. Get a screwdriver to disassemble the car key. Take your remote key and, using a screwdriver, unscrew the tiny screw located on the key cover. Pry apart the two parts of the plastic key cover with a screwdriver. Remove the worn battery, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the cover on your remote by pressing down until you hear it click into place. Check the proper functioning of the remote key. Finally, screw in the securing screw.
