How to replace the bulbs of the number plate lights? Pry at the side of the number plate light located in the tailgate. Remove the number plate light from the rear bumper of the car. Once the light is removed, pull out the bulb holder with your hands, then disconnect the bulb from it. Install the new LED bulb (same size and voltage), insert it into the bulb holder, and refit the light into the tailgate by pressing until the clips lock automatically. Check that the light is securely fitted.
