Sunroof Water Infiltration

One of the issues with vehicles featuring a sunroof is water infiltration, which can occur either from the sunroof seals or from blocked drainage channels. In the case of this Renault Laguna, the driver's carpet is completely soaked because water running down the door pillar, which should drain outside, enters the cabin due to a blockage in the drainage channel located behind the wheel arch. Proceed to remove the plastic wheel arch liner (removing the wheel would make the job easier); locate the drainage tube, clear any blockages, and install a non-return valve: this is a rubber component with a flap that allows water to exit and prevents blockage of the tube.
