How to Remove the Indicator Stalk from a Renault Clio

Model: Renault Clio MK 3, Clio 3, Clio III - Years 2005-2013

First, disconnect the battery power cables. Now remove the steering wheel covers and the airbag covers by unscrewing all the screws present. After removing the steering wheel protection covers, disconnect the power connectors and unscrew the central pin of the steering wheel. Mark the depth to which it was inserted with a marker (or a piece of masking tape), then pull it out. Now it is easy to remove the indicator stalk; just pull it out from the steering column. To reassemble everything, simply reverse the procedure: insert the indicator stalk into the steering column, place the steering wheel back to the marked depth, screw in the central pin, and reconnect the power connectors.
