First, open the tailgate and remove its panel; to do this, remove the securing clips and screws. Once the panel is off, disconnect the electrical connector of the lock; at this point, unscrew the securing screws of the lock and replace it with the new one. Finally, insert it correctly into its housing and reassemble everything by applying the reverse procedure of disassembly!
