In this video tutorial we will see how to remove and replace the gear knob and gaiter on the third series Renault Megane, in the RS version. First of all, let's get on board the car and start removing the gear knob; to do this we go and pull it upwards with force, perhaps with the help of a heat gun (in order to heat and facilitate the extraction of the knob). Once removed, let's detach the gearshift gaiter from the sides; then we detach the clamp that joins the cap to the knob rod, in order to replace it. For reassembly, just apply the reverse procedure!

How to reset the on-board computer of the Peugeot 208?

Resetting the Peugeot 208's on-board computer, the system called SMEG, is very simple. We can do this in case the system shows signs of malfunction, freezes, or in any other case where a restart could solve the problem. To reboot, simply hold down the two keys located in the lower left corner of the computer at the same time. After a few seconds, the SMEG system display will switch off, the Peugeot logo will appear and the start-up procedure will start. We wait patiently for the restart to complete as it may take some time.
