Let’s see how to remove and replace the rear drum brake shoes on the first series Renault Captur, as well as on the Renault Clio and various Dacia models. First, lift the vehicle at the rear and start by removing the wheel; then remove the drum by unscrewing the central bolt, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the fastening nuts and pull the springs from the shoes; then disconnect and remove them, replacing them with the correct new ones. Apply the reverse procedure for reassembly!
