To replace the diesel filter on a Renault Megane, lift the car and place a fluid collection tray underneath. Next, disconnect the hoses from the diesel filter, allowing any excess fuel to drain into the tray. At this point, you can unclip the filter, letting any fuel inside it also drain into the tray. Now, the new filter can be inserted into its housing and connected to the hoses on both sides. Once completed, you can move the tray and lower the car.
