How to Locate and Replace the Diesel Filter on the Renault Megane Mk4

This guide shows how to locate and replace the diesel filter on the Renault Megane Mk4. The filter is located at the front of the left rear wheel. To replace it, lift the vehicle and remove the plastic cover using two 24 mm bolts and one 10 mm bolt. Then, unscrew the diesel filter and allow the fuel to drain into a suitable container. Replace the old filter element with a new filter and refit it in position. Reattach the protective casing and the respective bolts, then lower the vehicle. Start the vehicle a few times to fill the filter.
