How to Change the Front Lights on Renault Megane

Do you want to replace the damaged bulbs inside the front headlight? Here’s how to remove the headlight from a Megane and replace the damaged bulbs. Lift the front bonnet, unscrew the securing screws of the front headlight and remove the retaining clip. Remove the headlight and the inspection cap (located at the back of the headlight). At this point, you will find the bulbs with metal clips; pull out the bulb holders from the headlight and extract the damaged bulbs with the help of a screwdriver. Fit the new bulbs (always ensure they are the correct type and size) and insert the bulb holder into the headlight housing. Refit the headlight after replacement.

To replace the filter, first, go underneath the vehicle, taking all necessary safety precautions. Then, using an 18mm wrench, open the drain valve and allow any water present to escape. Next, unscrew the housing, remove the old filter, insert the replacement along with a new gasket, and reassemble everything.
