How to Replace the Diesel Filter on a 2009 Renault Scenic 3

This guide shows how to replace the diesel filter on this vehicle. The first step is to lift the car to remove the front right wheel and the associated wheel arch (secure the vehicle before and during lifting). At this point, unscrew the fixing bolt of the filter cover and disconnect the electrical connector at the base of the filter. There are two pipes on the top (to disconnect; be cautious as fuel may spill) and a second electrical connector. Next, disconnect the two probes at the ends of the removed filter and reattach them to the new part. Refit the filter in its housing and reconnect the fuel connectors and cables, then reassemble the removed parts to access the component. From the engine bay, pump diesel into the filter using the appropriate pump. The operation is now complete.
