How to Remove the Centre Panel of the Renault Modus

If you want to work on one or more components in the central part of the dashboard, you must remove the plastic protective panel. This takes only a few seconds, and the simplicity of the operation makes it doable by anyone. First, ensure the car is completely turned off. Then, using a flat-head screwdriver, pull the panel towards you and gently remove it. Disconnect any electrical connectors, and you're done. At this point, you can proceed with maintenance or replacement of the panel itself.

If the central locking system of the Volkswagen Golf 4 is not working, it is likely necessary to reset the system: to do this, open the driver's door and detach the side panel of the dashboard next to the steering wheel.
