As shown in this tutorial, replacing the battery in the Renault Twingo 1 is an extremely simple and quick operation. First, ensure that the key is not inserted for safety. Then, open the bonnet and, using an 8 mm socket, unscrew the long securing bolt of the lower bracket. Next, disconnect both terminals, starting with the negative one. You will need an 8 mm spanner and a 10 mm spanner for this. At this point, you can install the replacement battery by following the reverse procedure, reconnecting the positive terminal first.
