Renault Clio - Video tutorial
Model: Renault Clio
Clio 2, MK 2
- Years 1998-2005 The glow plug is nothing more than an electrical resistance which, once powered, overheats and prepares the combustion chamber, improving the thermodynamic conditions at the first start. To verify correct operation, first make sure that they are powered: it is possible to use an indicator light (one end to earth and the top on the spark plug) or a multimeter directly; when the ignition is switched on and for as long as the relative warning light on the instrument panel remains on, the glow plug must be powered (the warning light will turn on and the voltage value will be shown on the multimeter display). Once the correct power supply has been verified, it is necessary to make sure that the resistance is not open or altered: then disconnect the eyelet of the power cable and check the resistance or with the indicator light (one end to positive and the other to the resistance: if the light turns on the resistor is closed) or directly with the multimeter (must measure less than 2 ohms). Finally, it is also possible to disassemble the resistor and power it with battery cables: it will become incandescent.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow to reset the TPMS light of the Volkswagen Polo 2011The orange tire light indicates the presence of one or more tires with an inflation pressure below the recommended limit. All this is easily solved by inflating them correctly or replacing them in the event of a puncture. After carrying out these operations it is necessary to reset the warning light and therefore also the sensor in order to have new reading data. All you have to do is start the car ignition and then fully open the glove compartment on the passenger side. Locate the two buttons in the right corner and press "Set". At this point the reset is complete and you can turn off the ignition. by ScegliAuto More videos
