Maintenance Schedule and Oil and Filter Change for the Renault Captur

This description and video tutorial provide instructions on how to change the oil and filter on the vehicle as per the maintenance schedule. The first step is to open the bonnet and locate the oil filter at the front of the engine; use a specific spanner to unscrew it. Always place a container for collecting used oil under the vehicle first. Then take the new filter and screw it back into place after replacing the seal. Next, lift the vehicle on a ramp, unfasten the screws of the soundproofing panel; beneath it is the oil drain plug that needs to be unscrewed. Wait a few minutes for all the oil to drain out and then screw the drain plug back in. Return to the top of the engine bay and proceed to fill the system with new oil.
