In the Renault Clio, it can happen that the tailgate gets stuck, for example, due to a fault in the lock or the switch located in the cabin. In this case, you can perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial.

Start by opening the right rear door, then operate the indicated lever and lower the backrest of the seat. Next, go inside the boot, locate the lock, and using a flathead screwdriver, disengage the central lock.

At this point, you can open the tailgate and repair the damaged component.
