How to clean the EGR valve of the Clio 4 105 dCi.

Model: Renault Clio MK 4, Clio 4, Clio IV - Years 2012-2019
Part: EGR valve

Unfortunately, buildups on the EGR valve are common and can cause serious problems for our car, so it is advisable to clean it often. With the help of this video tutorial, we will explain how to do it. The first step is to open the hood and lift the front of the car so that we can access the valve more easily. The second step is to disconnect the electrical sheath of the tube in the area, unscrew the clamping rings of the area duct tube with a flat screwdriver, and remove it as shown in the video. We unscrew and then remove, with a 10mm socket wrench insert, the air duct. Now, with a flat screwdriver, we remove the power connector of the valve, and with a 10mm wrench, we remove the valve support screws. Before removing the valve, we must disconnect the inlet and outlet tubes of the coolant. To clean the valve, we will use detergent and a metal brush. Before reassembling it, we pour injector detergent into the tank. To mount the valve, we simply follow the same steps as we did to remove it.

How to remove the front shock absorber on a Peugeot 406? The first step is to lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts (engine bay), lift the car on a column lift and remove the front wheel. Unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts at the wheel hub (detach the brake line clips with a screwdriver). Unscrew the bolts on the side, then remove the shock absorber from its housing (place a support under the bar). Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation. Fit the new shock absorber to the car, working in reverse order.
