Replacement of Front Discs and Pads

Model: Renault Scenic MK 2, Scenic 2 - Years 2003-2009

To replace the front discs and pads, lift the vehicle on a ramp and remove the front wheel; then disconnect the retaining spring of the pads, remove the protective caps, and unscrew the caliper mounting bolts to remove it from its position; extract the old pads and also remove the brake caliper bracket; at this point, unscrew the disc mounting screws from the hub, take off the old disc, clean the disc seat on the hub, and apply grease before installing the new one, ensuring to clean it of protective oil; then install the caliper bracket, insert the new pads, push back the caliper piston, and secure it to the bracket by applying the caps and the retaining spring.
