How to replace the headlight bulbs and headlight on the Renault Twingo

Model: Renault Twingo Twingo 1 - Years 1993-2007

To replace the headlight bulb on the Renault Twingo, open the bonnet. To replace the bulb on the driver's side, first remove the battery for more space, while for the passenger side, this is not necessary; after removing the battery, take off the plastic cover behind the headlight. To replace the position bulb, take the black connector at the bottom, pull it out, and the bulb holder will come out with the bulb; remove the old bulb, take the new bulb, replace it, and put it back in its place. To replace the dipped beam bulb, disconnect the plug, release the bulb from the clips, and remove it; take the new bulb, place it where the old bulb was, reattach the clip, reconnect the plug, and replace the cover behind the headlight. To replace the indicator bulb, unscrew the two visible screws to remove the lens, take the bulb, twist it, and pull it out; insert the new bulb, twist it, replace the lens, and screw the screws back in. If you want to replace the headlight, when you open the bonnet, there are 2 or 3 nuts to unscrew around the headlight; once the nuts are removed, the headlight should be free, disconnect the connectors, and install the new headlight, reconnect the connectors, and screw the nuts back in.
