How to Use the Renault Koleos Tyre Repair Kit

If your Renault Koleos does not have a spare wheel but has a repair kit, here’s how to use it. Remember that this is a temporary solution, and you can only use the kit if the puncture is in the tread area. Move off the road, park, engage the handbrake, and wear a high-visibility vest. Set up the warning triangle 50 metres from the vehicle. Take the repair kit, which consists of a compressor and sealing liquid. Check the instructions as well; it won’t hurt. Screw the bottle onto the compressor. Connect the compressor to the cigarette lighter, and attach the hose to the valve of the tyre (remove the protective cap first). Start the compressor and wait for the tyre to inflate; the kit has a pressure gauge, so you can monitor the pressure. At the same time, the sealing liquid is pushed inside, repairing the puncture. Refit the valve cap. Done! Do not drive faster than 50 mph and only for short distances, so head to a tyre repair centre as soon as possible.
