In this video tutorial, see how to replace the remote battery in a Renault Modus (the same procedure applies to other Renault models such as the Renault Kangoo, Clio, and Megane). Gather a flat-head screwdriver and a battery (model CR2032 3V). Press the button to release the metal key; now use the flat-head screwdriver to lever in the slot at the bottom of the key; at this point, the remote shell opens and you can see the battery. Remove the old battery and replace it with the new one. Reassemble all parts in reverse order.
