Renault Clio - Video tutorial

Model: Renault Clio Clio 2, MK 2 - Years 1998-2005
Part: Timing belt
Operation: Renault Clio II diesel timing belt replacement

The timing belt has a really important function in the engine as it ensures the correct synchronism between the movement of the pistons and that of the valves: its failure can therefore cause serious damage to the engine itself, often irreparable; It is therefore essential to respect the maintenance plan which provides for its replacement within 120,000 km and in any case no later than 5 years; to carry out this maintenance it is necessary to have good knowledge of general mechanics and above all to have the appropriate tools to keep the pulleys in position once the timing references have been aligned.

Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD gearbox oil replacement

Let's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level!
