Replacement of Front Shock Absorbers

Replacing the front shock absorbers on this car model will require quite a bit of work as many elements need to be disassembled: start by lifting the vehicle and removing the front wheels; disconnect the link from the shock absorber bracket and the tie rod end from the hub support to free it; then unscrew the mounting bolts of the shock absorber from the hub support and extract it before lowering the vehicle to access the engine bay; to remove the shock absorber mounts from the body struts, you must remove the wiper arms, take off the plastic cover under the windscreen, and disassemble the wiper mechanism; once the shock absorber is extracted from its seat, apply clamps to compress the spring and remove the mount from the shaft; then fit the boot, spring, and mount onto the new shock absorber and proceed in reverse for installation back onto the vehicle.
