Replacing the Front Shock Absorber on a Renault Megane

Do you want to replace the front shock absorber on your Renault Megane? Here’s how to remove it. Lift the front bonnet and locate the screws that you will unscrew later. Raise the car on a column lift and remove the front wheel. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the mounting bolts of the shock absorber from the wheel hub (detach the brake line tubes with a screwdriver). Unscrew the bolts located in the engine bay (to the side), then remove the shock absorber from its housing (place a support under the bar). Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation.
