In this video, we see what to do if the heating fan is no longer working properly on our Renault Twingo. The first thing to do is to check the fuse: we can do this using the legend found on the cover of the fuse box. The second thing to do is to check the wiring; underneath it, there is a resistor that tends to get very hot, especially if the low settings are used. In the video, we can see the replacement of the resistor, with the connections for the fan and the wiring. Usually, the problem lies in this component if the fan is only partially working. To remove it, we need to remove the two screws that can be seen in the video and slide it out of its housing. Another possible cause of malfunction could be the relay located in the footwell on the right, in the box that we can see in the footage. It can be cleaned or replaced, depending on our abilities. The last thing is the fan, and to reach it, we need to remove the glove compartment. We will need to remove the metal finish with a spatula and then the five screws that hold the compartment in place, two of which are located on the outside. After removing several components, we find the fan, disconnect the cables and the connector; we must be very careful when removing it because the plastic is very fragile.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
