Replacing the Front Brake Pads

Model: Renault R21 MK 1 - Years 1986-1995
Part: Brake pads

Loosen the wheel nuts and lift the vehicle securely. Unscrew the bolts and remove the wheel. Disconnect the electrical cable. Unscrew the two retaining screws of the caliper and remove it. Check the wear condition of the clips and the piston. Clean the entire braking assembly with alcohol and a brush, and dry with compressed air. Grease the fixing pins and reposition the piston, ensuring proper operation. Fit the new brake pads, paying attention to the direction of rotation and installing the one with contacts facing inwards. Refit the caliper and reconnect the electrical cable. Ensure the brake pads are properly seated against the disc. Recheck the brake fluid level.
