In this video, see how to change the auxiliary belt on the Renault Megane III. From the first diagram, you can see the correct layout of the auxiliary belt on this vehicle. Open the bonnet and lift the front of the car by removing the right wheel. From the front, remove the engine cover and the front wheel arch liner. From here, you can easily access the auxiliary belt by rotating the tensioner pulley clockwise to loosen the belt tension, allowing you to remove it. It is recommended to replace the tensioner pulley along with the belt. Refit the belt, ensuring the correct orientation and that the grooves fit properly. Reattach the wheel arch liner, the engine cover, the right front wheel, and lower the vehicle. Close the bonnet. The job is complete.
