The air filter on a Renault Megane 3 is located under the bonnet, just behind the engine and near the battery. Replacing the air filter on this type of vehicle requires a cross socket wrench. Start by opening the bonnet and unscrewing the nut that secures the filter cover with the cross socket wrench. Once the nut is removed, pull the filter from its housing and insert the new one. Finish by reinserting the filter and tightening the nut with the socket wrench. Then, start the vehicle to ensure the replacement has been done correctly.
