To replace the external handle on a Renault Modus, loosen all the screws securing the inner door panel, completely detach it, and access the underlying components. Here, locate the internal mechanism of the handle, which must be freed from its supports and disconnected from the relevant cables.

At this point, loosen the screws securing the external handle laterally, remove it, and replace it with a new part. You can then insert the new mechanism, connect it, secure it, and finally reattach the door panel.
