How to remove the external mirror on Renault Modus? Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Remove the screw covers located in the door opening lever, then use a screwdriver to unscrew the screw, and unscrew the screws located in the handle. Once removed, also unscrew the one around the door panel. Detach the door panel, disconnect the window regulator and speaker connectors. Do not lose any of the clips behind the plastic panel that was removed first. Now that you have removed the door panel: unscrew the bolts securing the external mirror; disconnect the power connector for the mirror.
