Replacement of the Renault Megane 2 remote control battery

Model: Renault Megane Megane 2 - Years 2002-2010
Part: Checks and maintenance

The battery that powers the remote control that opens and closes the doors of the Renault Megane gradually runs out over time and use and does not fulfill its function. To restore the efficiency of the remote control, we need to replace the battery. Take the remote control with the buttons facing towards us, remove the section at the bottom right that contains the blade by applying force. This way, we have access to the battery compartment which we can remove and replace with a new CR 2025, making sure to insert it with the positive pole up. Put the metal blade back in its place and check for correct operation.

How to Remove the Engine Air Filter on a Dacia Duster

Let’s see how to remove the engine air filter on a Dacia Duster. Open the car door, pull up the engine bonnet release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the front bonnet, securing it with the prop rod. Remove the soundproofing panel of the engine (if present), open the air kit (unclip the securing hooks), remove the cap of the filter box, and extract the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the designated housing (ensuring it fits snugly around the edges). Finally, reattach the cap of the air box and tighten the screws. Close the front bonnet after maintenance.
