Replacing the Diesel Fuel Filter
Model: Renault Modus
MK 1
- Years 2004-2013
Regularly replacing the fuel filter is a simple operation that should be done frequently to maintain optimal performance. The filter is located under the vehicle's body, so to access it, lift the car and secure it, then remove the right wheel. Remove the plastic cover and subsequently take off the protective cover of the filter by unscrewing the relevant screws. Place a plastic sheet in the work area to catch any diesel that may spill. Use a rubber hose to drain the contents of the filter into a container. The filter is secured with a front and rear bracket that must be removed to allow the removal of the hose clamps holding it to the fuel line. Fill the new filter with fuel using a syringe. Install the new filter, ensuring the flow direction indicated by an arrow on the filter itself is correct. Refit the protective cover. Operate the emergency diesel pump to allow new fuel to flow to the injection pump before unscrewing the valve on the fuel line to let air escape.
Clean up any spilled fuel residues thoroughly to prevent fire hazards.

How to replace the pollen filter on a Jeep Renegade? Unscrew the screws located on the right side of the dashboard, then remove the glove compartment (as shown in the video). Using a screwdriver or cordless drill, remove the metal bar and the cover from the filter housing, then extract the worn cabin filter. Insert a new cabin filter ensuring it fits snugly around the walls of the housing, reattach the housing cover and tighten the screws (cover everything with the cloth placed under the dashboard). Check the correct installation of the previously mounted parts. by ScegliAuto More videos
