How do you replace the gear knob of the Renault Kadjar?

In order to replace the gear knob of the Renault Kadjar, you need to detach the leather covering that wraps the base of the gear selector: once the shift boot has been detached, you can use an object to lever off the internal pins that hold the gear knob on the end of the lever. Once this old knob has been released, you can insert the new one, so that it can be secured by the internal hooks; finally, you can reposition the gear boot, making sure everything works correctly.
