Engine Air Filter Replacement

Model: Saab 9 3 MK 2 - Years 2002-2014
Part: Air filter

Open the bonnet and locate the filter housing on the left side of the engine. Disconnect the air intake hose by removing the hose clips to allow removal of the housing once detached from the bracket. Remove the cover by unscrewing the retaining screws around its edge. Pull out the old filter and insert a new one. Before inserting the new filter, clean the interior of any dust deposits. Carefully close the air box, ensuring it fits perfectly with the cover. Refit the flexible hose, paying attention to the reference notch. Start the engine and check for proper operation.

How to Replace the Spark Plugs of the Chevrolet Spark

Release and lift the bonnet. The first step is to disconnect the battery plugs to protect all electronic components. Now, remove the bolts securing the cover to the engine, disconnecting the hose on the side as well. Disconnect the connectors on top of the coils and then remove the coils by pulling them straight up after removing the bolts that hold them in place. Now, using a socket wrench, unscrew the spark plugs from the bottom of the newly freed hole, taking care not to let too much dirt enter this cylinder.
